Rice University networking issues affecting access to library resources

Rice University's IT staff are today (Tuesday, 5/19/09) addressing a range of issues with the campus network.

The resulting slow-down in network traffic is impacting access to library resources (databases, ejournals, etc.), especially for those attempting remote access via proxy and/or VPN. These networking issues also are preventing delivery of your email to library staff and/or response from those staff.
